Nashua woman under arrest in connection with knife attack
NASHUA — Police took into custody a 41-year-old Nashua woman Saturday afternoon, the result of an investigation by Special Investigations Division detectives into a knife attack earlier in the day.
Jessica Whitney, a resident of Fossa Avenue, faces one count of first-degree assault — domestic violence, a Class A felony, police said.
The investigation determined that Whitney allegedly assaulted a man known to her with a knife, causing injuries for which the man was treated at a local hospital and later released.
The location of the alleged incident wasn’t provided, nor did police say what led up to it.
Whitney was booked on the charge and later released on $750 cash bail pending arraignment, which will take place in Hillsborough County Superior Court South on a date yet to be determined.
