City employee arrested for incident at Nashua City Hall

NASHUA – The Nashua Police Department arrested Guadalupe Nava, 59, of Nashua, on an active arrest warrant for criminal mischief, Class A misdemeanor, last week.

According to officials. on July 9, the Nashua Police Department received a report of a criminal mischief incident that occurred at City Hall. Detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division investigated the incident and identified a city employee, Nava, as being the individual responsible for purposely damaging property within City Hall. Detectives applied for and were granted a warrant for Nava’s arrest, charging him with criminal mischief.

A Class A misdemeanor is punishable up to one year in the County House of Corrections, exclusive of fines. Nava was released on personal recognizance, and is scheduled to be arraigned at 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court on Sept. 9.
