NASHUA – NHCG LLC, the owner and operator of the River Casino & Sports Bar in downtown Nashua, recently opened their second charity casino, The Lucky Moose Casino & Tavern at the Nashua Mall, directly off the Everett Turnpike at Exit 6.

“We built a charity casino and tavern that will celebrate the tremendous appeal of New Hampshire as a destination to play,” said Jim Rafferty, one of the charity casino’s owners. “It will be a venue that captures what players really want – that winning feeling, the excitement of the party, the place where the action is. And, of course, delicious food and drink.”

“The Lucky Moose Casino & Tavern is one-of-a-kind in New Hampshire. We know from working in charitable gaming in New Hampshire since 2006 what people enjoy: excitement – the roar of a big win on roulette, the high five after a blackjack, the celebration when quads are dealt on NH Hold’em. Customers also appreciate that dealers at the Lucky Moose are friendly and take the time with customers to help them learn the rules if they need it,” Rafferty added.

“This is one of the great commercial restaurant sites in all of New Hampshire – just north of the Nashua River and overlooking the Everett Turnpike,” said Sarah Rafferty, NHCG’s director of development. “We have been looking for sites to add a second property for over a year, and the site off Exit 6 provided many of the elements we desired: abundant parking, easy highway access and a great building to serve our guests.”

Jim Rafferty added, “The Lucky Moose Casino & Tavern has undergone months of renovation and is ready to go. It will offer a new food and beverage menu inspired by the creativity of our chefs. Charity gaming will be a focus, providing our guests with exciting and innovative table games that keep players in the center of the action.”

The Lucky Moose Casino & Tavern is open every day at 11 a.m. serving lunch, and the restaurant is open until midnight Thursday through Saturday and until 11 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday.
