In spite of a light rain, residents, veterans and Boy Scouts gathered on the South Lyndeborough Common to host Memorial Day services at noon on Sunday. Services were conducted in front of the war memorials by members of the Layfayette Artillery Company, Walter Holland, Captain. About 20 people braved the rain.
