Donchess expected to sign repeal of mask ordinance today
NASHUA – On the heals of the Board of Aldermen opting to end the city’s mask ordinance Tuesday night, Mayor Jim Donchess is expected to sign the amended document today.
While the mask ordinance will end – effective immediately once Donchess signs the repeal – local businesses may still require face coverings. This decision will be left up to individual business owners as they consider their clientele and other possible risk factors.
The Board of Health encourages businesses that serve vulnerable populations and are considered essential businesses like supermarkets and pharmacies to create policies that protect vulnerable populations.
