Nashua man charged with dumping construction debris on Hollis town conservation land

By Dean Shalhoup - Senior Staff Reporter | May 19, 2021

HOLLIS – Nashua resident Conrad Caine, 50, turned himself in to Hollis police Monday, two days after a warrant was issued for his arrest on allegations he dumped “several contractor-style refuse bags” on town-owned conservation land.

Police said they had received reports of littering on town conservation property off of Rideout Road on Saturday.

Officers found several bags, which police said contained construction debris and other materials.

They said officers were able to identify Caine as a suspect in the incident, and issued an arrest warrant.

Caine was charged with one count of unlawful activities: littering, which is a Class A misdemeanor.

He was booked on the charge and later released on personal recognizance bail, and will be arraigned at Nashua district court on a date not yet determined.
