NASHUA – The Nashua Transit Authority announced late Thursday that despite Gov. Chris Sununu ending the statewide mask mandate today, it still would require face coverings when riding the bus.

Nashua Transit’s message is below:

Please note that despite the NH State Mask Mandate expiring on Friday, April 16th, Nashua Transit will continue to require passengers to wear face masks onboard our vehicles and at all of our facilities per the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) & the CDC’s Mask Requirement on Public Transportation and City of Nashua Ordinances # O-20-018 and # O-20-029.

The face mask must cover your nose and mouth at all times. Please do your part to continue to protect the health and safety of yourself and those around you. If for any reason, you do not have a mask, or forgot it at home, NTS has disposable masks available on board for passenger use.

We thank you for your continued patience and cooperation.
