PELHAM – The 20-year-old Pelham man charged recently with four offenses alleging he possessed and distributed sexual images depicting children is scheduled for a Superior Court hearing on May 25.

Riley LeBlanc, whose street address wasn’t provided, was taken into custody in March following what Pelham police called “a thorough investigation into a tip received from the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children (NH-ICAC) Task Force.”

Pelham detectives, along with members of the ICAC task force and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department, arrested LeBlanc on a warrant charging him with two counts each of possession of child sexual abuse images and distribution of child sexual images, police said.

LeBlanc’s arrest came roughly two weeks after investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Pelham, the address of which wasn’t provided. The search turned up “further evidence that led them to identify their suspect” as LeBlanc, police said.

Investigators located LeBlanc on Crosby Lane in Londonderry, and with assistance from Londonderry police, took him into custody without incident.

He was returned to Pelham police headquarters, where he was booked on the charges and ordered held on preventive detention. He has since been arraigned, and it’s not clear whether his bail status was modified or if he continues to be held in jail.

The May 25 hearing, a dispositional conference, is scheduled for 8 a.m. in Hillsborough County Superior Court South in Nashua.
