Nashua firefighters battling fully-involved house fire on Meadowbrook Drive; one person rescued
NASHUA – The condition of a person Nashua firefighters rescued from a home fully engulfed in flames Saturday evening isn’t yet known, but he or she was rushed to an awaiting ambulance and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
The blaze broke out around 7 p.m. at 8 Meadowbrook Drive, a ranch style home near the intersection of Meadowbrook Drive and Harris Road, just west of East Dunstable Road.
First-arriving crews reported heavy smoke and fire coming from the house, prompting the dispatch of an additional engine and ladder to the scene.
Crews reportedly had to deal with the collapse of portions of the first floor, as well as a large amount of contents within the house.
