MANCHESTER – The former Nashua man accused of threatening a woman via text messaging and leaving the severed heads of two rabbits on her vehicle has turned himself in to police.

Estevan Hincapie, 24, of Manchester, is facing charges that include three counts of criminal threatening and two counts of cruelty to animals, according to police.

The incident that led to the charges occurred in late December on Hayward Street, when Hincapie allegedly sent the woman threatening text messages, during which he allegedly told her he had left her a surprise outside.

Police said that when the woman went outside to look, she found the severed rabbit heads on her vehicle.

Police on Tuesday issued a warrant for Hincapie’s arrest, following their investigation into the allegations.
