NASHUA – Police have located and taken into custody the driver who allegedly struck and seriously injured a pedestrian more than two months ago in front of Nashua House of Pizza.

Detectives charged Tamara Abukhalaf, 20, with one count of conduct after an accident, which is a Class B felony due to the fact the collision resulted in serious bodily injury, police said.

Police listed Abukhalaf’s address as 103 Ash St., Apt. 3, but the department’s arrest log gave an address of 41 Ayer Road.

She was arrested on a warrant police had issued, then booked on the charge and later released on personal recognizance bail pending arraignment, which police said will take place at Hillsborough County Superior Court South at a later date.

Officers were called around 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 to East Hollis Street in the area of Nashua House of Pizza for reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle and suffered serious injuries.

Callers also told police the driver of the vehicle that allegedly struck the pedestrian “fled the scene immediately after the collision,” police said.

They didn’t identify the pedestrian, who is believed to be an adult male, nor provide any information on his condition.

Police ask anyone who may have additional information on the incident to contact the department on its Crime Line at 589-1665.
