Arrest made in Christmas Eve domestic incident
NASHUA – Police said officers have arrested 22-year-old Nashua resident Elizabeth Bido Almanzar in connection with a Christmas Eve domestic disturbance involving a knife.
Almanzar, whose street address wasn’t provided, allegedly threatened a male, whom she knows, with a knife, according to police.
Detectives with the department’s Special Investigation Division were called in, police said, and following their investigation police filed three charges against Almanzar.
They include one count of domestic violence – criminal threatening, a Class B felony; and two counts of domestic violence – simple assault, Class A misdemeanors, according to police.
Almanzar was booked on the charges, and her bail was set at $2,500 cash. Police didn’t say whether Almanzar made bail or if she remains in custody pending arraignment, a date for which has yet to be determined, police added.
