With Thanksgiving upon us in Greater Nashua, so is the official start of the holiday shopping season. That, of course, means Christmas is just around the corner.

With that, some local families may have to make the difficult decision to either pay their rent and bills or buy Christmas gifts and food.

That’s where The Telegraph and United Way of Greater Nashua’s Santa Fund comes in.

Donations – which will benefit The Front Door Agency and The Salvation Army in Nashua and SHARE Outreach in Milford – will be accepted online at http://www.tinyurl.com/santafund2020. Donations also may be made by texting 2020santa to 41444.

Checks may be made out to the United Way of Greater Nashua, with Santa Fund written in the memo line.

Cash donations can be dropped off at the United Way of Greater Nashua’s office on Broad Street.
