Mosley chosen for South Hadley, Mass., school chief’s post
NASHUA – Dr. Jahmal Mosley has been chosen as the new superintendent of schools for the South Hadley (Massachusetts) Public School district.
The School Committee voted unanimously Friday night to offer Mosley the position, pending negotiations.
Mosley, who has voiced his desire to leave the Nashua School District and has a contentious relationship with the board of education, came to the Gate City in 2017.
Mosley was one of three finalists for the South Hadley job, and he was previously a candidate for a job in Quincy, Massachusetts. He previously served as the assistant school chief in the Sharon, Massachusetts, school district.
