NASHUA – Police over the weekend arrested Melissa Pendlebury, 41, of 35B Harvard St., accusing her of playing a role in a mid-March burglary in which “a significant amount of cash and jewelry were stolen,” police said.

The offense with which police charged Pendlebury – criminal liability for the conduct of another to burglary, a Class A felony – indicates that at least one other person was involved in the alleged burglary, but police didn’t name anyone else in reporting Pendlebury’s arrest.

They said that investigators received information at some point that Pendlebury was allegedly involved in the burglary. They didn’t give the amount of cash or the value of the jewelry allegedly stolen in the March burglary.

Members of the department’s Criminal Investigation Division arrested Pendlebury on a warrant they issued during their investigation, police said.

Subsequent to her arrest it was determined that Hudson police also had an outstanding warrant for Pendlebury’s arrest on a charge of abandoning a vehicle, a violation-level offense.

Police said Pendlebury was booked on the Nashua charge and later released on personal recognizance bail pending arraignment, a date for which remains pending.

Police ask that anyone who has additional information on the incident that led to Pendlebury’s arrest call the department’s Crime Line at 589-1665.
