MERRIMACK – A 72-year-old man currently living in Windham was held without bail following his arrest Sunday on a fugitive from justice charge, police said.

Dennis Desgroseilliers, of 21 Wynridge Road, was taken into custody around 12:30 p.m., shortly after officers pulled his car over on the Daniel Webster Highway “for several motor vehicle infractions.”

In running a records check on Desgroseilliers, police said officers learned there was an active extraditable warrant out for him, in connection with pending felony counts alleging felony theft and bad checks-related offenses out of Maryland.

They took him into custody and transported him to police headquarters for booking on the fugitive from justice charge, police said.

Desgroseilliers was ordered held without bail overnight, pending Monday’s scheduled arraignment in Merrimack district court.
