Former Nashua district court judge under criminal investigation

By Dean Shalhoup - Senior Staff Reporter | Oct 23, 2020

CONCORD – Judge Julie A. Introcaso, who sat on the Nashua district court bench for part of her nine years as a circuit court judge, is the subject of an investigation by the office of Attorney General Gordon MacDonald, a spokeswoman said Thursday.

MacDonald’s director of communications, Kate Giaquinto, said in a statement that investigators are looking into “alleged criminal conduct” of Judge Introcaso.

“The investigation was initiated based on information received (Thursday) from the New Hampshire Supreme Court, which alleges that Judge Introcaso whited out two court orders,” the statement reads.

The investigation by MacDonald’s office “will focus on whether the alleged alterations could constitute” the crimes of falsifying physical evidence or tampering with public records or information, “as well as other criminal conduct as dictated by the evidence,” according to the statement.

Giaquinto indicated that additional information “will be provided when possible … consistent with our obligation to ensure the integrity of the investigation.”
