Nashua couple facing several drug charges following arrest at Merrimack hotel
MERRIMACK – A man and woman from Nashua are free on personal recognizance bail awaiting a court date following their arrests in Merrimack last week on various drug-related offenses.
Police said officers arrested Nicholas Cummings, 28, of 26 Lincoln Ave., and Stacey Slaoui, 44, of 65 Amherst St., Apt. C, after executing a search warrant for a room at The Residences at Daniel Webster.
Cummings and Slaoui were in the room at the time officers executed the warrant, police said. The search turned up a clear plastic baggie containing a controlled drug, along with “related paraphernalia consistent with that of distribution,” police said.
They charged Cummings with two counts of possession of a controlled drug, and one count each of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, and possession of a hypodermic needle.
Slaoui was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled drug, and one count each of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute and falsifying evidence, according to police.
Cummings and Slaoui were booked on the charges and later released on personal recognizance bail. The dates of their appearances in Hillsborough County Superior Court South remain pending.
