Remote learning to continue until January 2021 in Nashua
The Nashua School District announced Friday afternoon that remote learning will continue for most students until January 2021.
In a news release, district officials wrote, “After much discussion, we have decided to delay switching to hybrid learning for most students. We will continue with remote learning until January 2021. Your remarkable efforts and partnership to make teaching and learning from home work for our students have been magnificent. We have decided to maintain the current course and predictable remote schedule, which has proven to be a steady course for many of our students’ families and our staff as they navigate work schedules, day care arrangements, and, for some of our families, caring for loved ones during this trying time. We are encouraged by your efforts, and will continue to address individual student issues and make sure our students remain connected and receive high quality education during this pandemic.”
Earlier in the day, the city of Nashua announced two new COVID-19 cases at City Hall, and said the building will be closed from Monday through Oct. 5.
