CONCORD – The state Department of Health and Human Services announced the death of a Carroll County woman over age 60 Sunday and 44 new cases due to COVID-19.

The community level transmission had already been raised from minimal to moderate in Manchester. Strafford County was added Sunday, likely due to the number of cases at the University of New Hampshire in Durham at 36 active cases Sunday and 45 recovered. See list of schools below. No areas had the highest red level of substantial. The state did not immediately respond to questions Sunday after issuing the news release.

NH Data: The overall level of community transmission is defined using three metrics: new cases and new hospitalizations per 100,000 and 7-day PCR test positive rate. Green is minimal, Yellow is moderate and Red would be substantial.
