MILFORD – The Outreach Committee is sponsoring a drive by food collection for SHARE on Sunday, July 12 from 12:30-2:00 p.m. at Church of Our Saviour, 10 Amherst St., Milford. Outreach members will be stationed at both the upper and lower levels outside the church so you can conveniently drive by either side and drop off a bag of items needed or gift cards to one of the local grocery stores; we will load them into our cars and transport them to SHARE on Monday.

The list as requests includes: Cheerios, cooking oil, ranch and Italian salad dressings, condiments (mayo, ketchup, relish), sugar, flour, brownie mix, cornbread mix, muffin mix, snacks, including granola bars, mixed fruit cups, cheese and crackers, and peanut butter crackers, canned fruit (pineapple, fruit cocktail).

If you are willing to promote this to your neighbors, that would help too; they can either drive by the church to drop off items during the designated hours on July 12th, or they can drop off items with you the week before and you can just drop them off at church on the 12th. Thank you for helping those in need within our community!

Donations to SHARE Food Pantry: With the effects of the coronavirus pandemic continuing to be felt, food pantries everywhere are expected to be in great demand. If you would like to make a donation, please bring them directly to SHARE, 1 Columbus Ave., Milford – just call first, 673-9898, to arrange drop off; also, there is a SHARE donation barrel at Shaw’s.
