Nashua man with long history of lewdness convictions charged anew with ‘performing gross lewdness on himself’ in restaurant drive-through

Timothy Thompson, 35, of Nashua

NASHUA – Timothy Thompson, a Nashua man who has been convicted of indecent exposure and lewdness five times between January 2006 and March 2010, has once again been arrested on the charge, police said.

Thompson, 35, whose address is listed as 49 1/2 Bowers St., Apt. 7, in the state’s Sex Offender Registry, was taken into custody early Sunday morning, shortly after officers responded to a local restaurant for a report that a man was “performing an act of gross lewdness on himself in the establishment’s drive-through,” police said.

Officers upon arrival located Thompson, and determined he was allegedly “responsible for the incident,” police said.

Thompson’s past convictions upgraded the charge, which is typically a Class A misdemeanor, to a Class B felony, police said.

The convictions also put Thompson on the state Sex Offender Registry as a Tier II offender, meaning he must register biannually.

Police said Thompson was booked on the charge and later released on $500 cash bail pending arraignment, which is scheduled for Aug. 6 in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.

Police ask that anyone with any further information on the case contact the department’s Crime Line at 589-1665.
