Brandon Maloney, 22, of no fixed address, Nashua

NASHUA – Police late last week added three new felony charges to the two on which 22-year-old Brandon Maloney was arrested about a month ago.

That brings to five the number of charges that Maloney, a Nashua resident with no fixed address, is facing, according to police.

The new charges include one count each of fradulent use of a credit card and burglary, Class A felonies, and theft, Class B felony.

They accuse him of burglarizing a Nashua residence sometime between March 31 and May 21, and allegedly stealing credit cards, which police said he “used fraudulently to obtain goods and services in an amount in excess of $1,500.”

Already pending against Maloney were two counts of theft of a firearm, Class A felonies.

At a Superior Court hearing in early June, several days after the late May arrest, Maloney was granted his motion for personal recognizance bail, with the condition that he agree to apply to either Greater Nashua Mental Health Center or Harbor Homes within 24 hours. He was also ordered to have no contact with either of the alleged victims, whose vehicles Maloney was accused of entering and stealing firearms and other items between that same March 31-May 21 timeframe, police said at the time.

They also said at the time that their investigation into Maloney was ongoing, and that they considered him a potential suspect in “several other thefts from motor vehicles” throughout Nashua.

Police didn’t specify where Maloney’s most recent arrest took place, nor was it immediately known if he was still free on bail at the time.

Police did say that after they booked Maloney on the new charges, he was released on personal recognizance bail pending arraignment, which is scheduled for July 30 in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.

Police ask anyone with any additional information on the cases contact the department’s Crime Line at 589-1665.
