Nashua police arrest five in Operation Granite Shield sweep

Cole McCloud, age 28, of 44 Kinsley Street, Nashua

NASHUA – Members of the Nashua Police Departmentís Narcotics Intelligence Division and Problem Oriented Policing Unit have taken into custody five individuals accused of “various drug crimes, and various crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity,” according to a department statement.

The arrests were part of an Operation Granite Shield initiative, police said.

Police also urge residents who have any information concerning illegal drug activity to call the department’s Narcotics Hotline at 594-3597, or go to www.NashuaPD.com.

They also ask anyone who may have any addtional information regarding these cases contact the department’s Crime Line at 589-1665.

Harrison Duong, age 24, of 41 Syracuse Road, Nashua

Those arrested and their charges follow.

• Harrison Duong, 24, of 41 Syracuse Road, Nashua. Three counts, sale of a controlled drug – cocaine, second offense, all special felonies.

• Manuel Escamilla, 27, of 80 Dodge St., Nashua.

Outstanding out-of-town warrant – parole violation, Class A Misdemeanor.

• Whitney Manley, 21, of no fixed address, Nashua. One count each, sale of a controlled drug – heroin/fentanyl; and sale of a controlled drug – methamphetamine, both special felonies.

Manuel Escamilla, age 27, of 80 Dodge Street, Nashua

• Patrick Bellot, 53, of 93 Sentry Way, Merrimack.

One count, sale of a controlled drug – heroin/fentanyl, special felony.

• Cole McCloud, 28, of 44 Kinsley St., Nashua.

One count each, possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute – marijuana; possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute – THC concentrate; and possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute – psilocybin mushrooms, all special felonies.

Escamilla and Manley were held in jail and were scheduled for arraignment Thursday.

Patrick Bellot, age 53, of 93 Sentry Way, Merrimack

Duong, Bellot and McCloud were released on personal recognizance bail pending their arraignments, which are scheduled for July 2 in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.
