Nashua’s pizza and sub shops stand out as some of the best in Southern New Hampshire, and Giovanni’s Roast Beef & Pizza is one of the reasons why. Hot and cold subs, club sandwiches, pizzas, calzones, pastas, and of course, their famous roast beef, all keep us coming back for more, year after year.

Appetizers like Bacon Cheese Fries, Homemade Onion Rings, Pizza Rolls and Crunchy Golden Mushrooms put out the welcome mat and lead us into a world of some delicious and fulfilling meals.

Some of the subs offered range from the classic to the less often seen: Chicken Parmesan, Steak Bombs and Meatball Subs are sure winners, while Seafood, a Texas Chicken Melt, and a Steak Caesar Wrap are intriguing but sound absolutely delicious. Club Sandwiches are a great way to get savory meats and healthy veggies all at once, with Turkey, Tuna, Chicken, and Cheeseburger being a handful of the options.

Pizzas with more traditional topping combinations are always a good idea, but Giovanni’s Specialty Pizzas really need to be explored. The Spinach Alfredo (spinach, mushrooms, bacon, onions and mozzarella over white sauce), the Polo (broccoli, bacon, onion, mozzarella, grilled chicken and alfredo sauce), Mexican Pizza (taco meat, sauce, tomato, olives, jalapeño and a cheddar blend) and their BBQ Chicken Pizza (grilled chicken, onions, barbeque sauce and mozzarella) are all worthy contenders for your newest favorite. Calzones are equally tantalizing, with combinations like Spinach & Feta, Ricotta & Pepperoni, and the Italian Calzone’s boastful portions of mortadella, hot ham, provolone, onions and salami.

Dinners include generous plates of Steak Tips, Chicken Kabobs and Fresh Haddock, among others. Pasta Dishes are served with Garlic Bread, and offer us the likes of Grilled Chicken, Seasoned Steak, Sausage or Veal. Ten different salads, as well as Kabob Style Salads are healthy and delicious.

Hot Sandwiches are where we can find the famous Roast Beef, with three sizes available: the Super Beef comes on an onion roll, the Regular Roast Beef on a sesame roll, and the Jr. Roast Beef on a plain roll. Other hot sandwiches include Pastrami, quarter pound Sirloin Burgers and a King Hot Dog, to name a few. Pick a side and a beverage, and you have yourself an amazing feast. Kids’ Combo Meals such as Chicken Fingers, a Burger, Hot Dog, or Grilled Cheese are also available, and come with fries.

For over twenty years, this family owned and run restaurant has continuously delivered on their promise to provide us with quality food at affordable prices, and they continue to do so today. The challenges of our current situation continue to mount, and some days can be a challenge.
