Share Some Good News – April 3 – Lui Lui

By Staff | Apr 3, 2020

Traveling abroad is a great way to find inspiration for creativity, life goals, and gratification. When Eric Roberts set off on a driving tour of Italy with his father and brother in 1991, he experienced food like never before. Anyone who has been to Italy can tell you – the food is life-changing. Eric’s trip there changed his life in a monumental way. Within weeks of returning home, he embarked on another adventure: opening his first Italian restaurant, naming it Lui Lui. The flagship location opened its doors that year, and is nestled in the town of West Lebanon. Five years later, the Nashua shop opened, and our community has been savoring crispy wood-fired pizza, homemade bread and fresh, quality pasta ever since.

Located on the bustling Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua’s South End, Lui Lui is a family-friendly, community-supporting small business that makes big things happen. From offering a 25% discount for online orders during these difficult times to raising millions of dollars over the years through their partnership with the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, Lui Lui always keeps one thing at the center of their endeavors: Giving back to the people.

So let’s talk about their impressive menu. The appetizers at Lui Lui cover a wide array of options to please anyone looking for a preparatory snack. You can take your pick from a large selection that includes Crispy Risotto Balls (spheres of fried risotto filled with mozzarella, Parmesan and fresh herbs – perfect for sharing!), Mussels (fresh from P.E.I., sautéed with garlic, bacon and tomato in a light broth and gorgonzola) and an Italian Sampler consisting of Fried Ravioli, Tuscan Buffalo Tenders, Meatballs and Risotto Balls. Express Lunches include helpings of meats and vegetables with fresh pasta and sauce, their famous baked Mac N Cheese topped with golden breadcrumbs (add bacon for 99 cents!), stacked sandwiches and Mini Pizzas. Lui Lui’s entrees are perfect for rounding off a long day: Chicken Parmesan (breaded chicken, topped with marinara, melted provolone, served with spaghetti), Tuscan Steak Tips (grilled, tender steak tips marinated in Italian seasonings, served with fresh vegetables and crispy rosemary and Parmesan red potatoes) and Wood Fired Salmon (8 oz Atlantic salmon cooked in the brick oven, served with vegetables and topped with basil aioli) are just a few examples of what you could be having for dinner tonight. Pizza is basically its own food group, and Lui Lui specializes in it. Their wood-fire oven is constantly pumping out Rusticas (homemade tomato sauce, eggplant, marinated artichokes, caramelized onions and mozzarella), Savonas (grilled chicken, broccoli and alfredo sauce with mozzarella), and Rocchios (sweet Italian sausage, caramelized onions and roasted red peppers with tomato sauce and mozzarella). Bottled wine and beer is also available with takeout orders and deliveries bound for residences. Utilize their online ordering tab on the website, and don’t forget to enter promo “ONLINE25” to receive 25% off!

Eric and his Nashua team are passionate about serving fresh and delicious Italian food to their family, friends and neighbors. Their place in Nashua’s food industry has been solid for nearly 30 years, and we know they will continue doing their part to keep us fed and happy.
