Lions elect woman to lead them next year

NASHUA – City resident Erin Freda has been elected as president of the 98-year-old Nashua Lions Club. A graduate of Nashua High School, Freda is currently director of student affairs administration at Babson College.

Joining her in leadership next year are first vice president Paul Bergeron, second vice president Martha Ackerman, Secretary Linda Quebec and Treasurer John Deschenes. Elected as directors were Jennifer Deshaies, Erich Englehart, Gary Gahan and Margo Bell.

Rounding out the team are Membership Chair Ed Lecius, Marketing and Communications Chair Kelly Fox, Lion Tamer Fran Hendrickson, Historian Greg Andruskevich and Greeter Derek Connary.

The Nashua Lions meet on the first and third Monday of the month, except July, at the Nashua Country Club.
