NASHUA – On Friday, the River Casino & Sports Bar kicked off its 12th anniversary celebration with its annual anniversary $25,000 River Scratchers promotion. Players scratch and reveal symbols to win $25,000, a trip for two to Las Vegas, $50, or a large pizza of their choice.

Every day from Friday through April 6, customers can come in and receive their free scratcher. That’s correct – each day you can pick up a free Scratcher for a chance to win $25,000.

The River is kicking off its Scratcher promotion with a big launch party weekend.

Events

• Today – A special Saturday edition Happy Hour: 3-6 p.m., plus get a free, daily $25,000 River Scratcher;

• Sunday – Daytona 500 & Race Day specials. Great food and beverage specials, plus get a free, daily $25,000 River Scratcher;

• Monday – Customer Appreciation Day. Half off all food and beverage, plus get a free, daily $25,000 River Scratcher.

The Party

Jim Rafferty, general manager and co-owner of the River Casino & Sports Bar, was quoted as saying “We could not be more proud of our 12 years in New Hampshire. Over those years, we have raised $3,476,310 for 107 different local and statewide charities. We thank Mayor Jim Donchess and all the Aldermen of Nashua for supporting our efforts for the charities,” Rafferty continued. “Really, it is all our players and customers who put the bets down who make the party really go. The team at the River knows if we throw a good party every day, that is what keeps our players coming back. We have a lot of fun here, and we believe the River is the most fun, exciting, friendly, and delicious party, not only Nashua, but in the entire state of New Hampshire.”

The River charities agree that the River provides an exciting, and profitable, opportunity for raising monies for their causes. Ted Luzsey, president of Operation Care for Troops, said, “We partnered with the River for the first time in 2019 and we were really happy with the results. The 35% of the gaming proceeds that we received for our 10 gaming dates really helped Operation Care for Troops in its effort to supply packages with a little bit of home to deployed soldiers worldwide, making their job and deployment a little easier. We look forward to our gaming dates in 2020.”
