The Nashua School District continues to urge parents to register their children for kindergarten as soon as possible. Children who turn 5 by Sept. 30 are eligible.
The school district’s goal is to keep each kindergartener in his or her neighborhood elementary school. However, if classes at that neighborhood school reach capacity, a late-registering kindergartener may have to attend another elementary school that has a seat available for him or her in its classes. Each kindergarten class is capped at 20 students.
