Girls Night Out event is planned

By Eric Stanway - Guest Columnist | Jan 27, 2020

With the holidays well and truly over, all we’re left with is the dismal prospect of a couple of months more winter. As we fall into the seasonal routine, cabin fever begins to take over, and staring at the same four walls becomes an increasingly unwelcome proposition.

Fortunately, Liquid Therapy, a craft beer bar in Nashua, has just the thing to chase away those doldrums, as they host the 2020 Shake off Winter Blues Girls Night Out from 6-9 p.m. on Feb. 7. The event, which is being organized by New England Vendor Events, is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to eat, drink and shop from a number of exclusive dealers who will be offering their wares at the site.

“We organize events all over New England, and this is just one of many that we coordinate in the Nashua area,” said Cynthia Hudson, owner of New England Vendor Events and organizer of the evening. “It’s really a full night, with plenty of vendors, vendor bingo, shopping, drinks and good food. This event is geared to both men and women, so anyone can show up. We’ll also have free door prizes throughout the night. For a small fee, you can even design your own wine glass or beer mug, but you have to register ahead of time to participate.

The vendor list is extensive, and includes the best New England has to offer. Paparazzi jewelry will be present, along with Colorstreet, scentsy, NH Flannel, Heavenly Goddess Spa products, Pampered Chef and more.

The venue itself is worthy of note. Liquid Therapy was founded a few years ago by a couple of self-proclaimed Brewery Shrinks, Jason Palmer and Stanley Tremblay. The two are primed to advance the already booming New Hampshire craft brewing industry. Not only are they creating fresh, unique beer selections, but they create most of their food in-house.

Built on the theory of community, Liquid Therapy isn’t your typical brew pub or “hole in the wall.” Looking to build on the commonalities we all share, they welcome those who desire to enjoy something new that the mainstream players wouldn’t dare attempt, while engaging with one another in a positive, enlightening atmosphere. Located in what is the original fire house of Nashua, Central Fire House, on 14 Court St, Liquid Therapy furthers that desire. The owners are looking to share 100 years of active firehouse history with those who come in, as it is no longer a dormant building that once housed history, but an active participant in building upon it.

The menu covers the gamut of pub food, including grilled cheese sandwiches on white or rye bread, with optional guacamole or bacon; nachos, featuring Buffalo chicken, bacon, bleu cheese, green peppers and green onion; a blackberry serrano wrap, with roasted chicken, blackberry serrano sauce, lettuce, green onion, green pepper, fresh mozzarella and herbed mayonnaise and much more.
