By Staff | Jan 14, 2020

Courtesy Photo Members of the Hollis Police Department are excited to announce the agency received a grant from Walmart. The department received a $1,500 grant from the store as part of the company’s community grant program, which focuses on meeting community needs by providing grants to local organizations. Amherst Walmart Manager Frankie Harvey made the official presentation to Police Chief Joseph Hoebeke at the store on Jan. 13. Hoebeke said the $1,500 grant will be used to financially support the implementation of a wellness initiative for Hollis police. Hollis officials have made a commitment to invest in maintaining wellness for the members of these two agencies because it has a direct impact on their ability to be effective. Hoebeke wishes to to thank Harvey and the Walmart Giving initiative, as they have continuously demonstrated their commitments to helping to communities throughout New Hampshire and across the country.
