For the second year in a row, G.M. Roth and Eversource Energy made significant donations to The Telegraph/ United Way Santa Fund. These donations helped the fund reach a total dollar amount of $33,625, in addition to numerous donations of toys, gift cards, and clothing. The $2,500 Eversource donation, presented by Elizabeth LaRocca, was the largest single donation of the season, while the G.M. Roth donation was the second largest at $2,000. These two contributions, along with the financial support of 210 other community members, civic organizations, and businesses, helped the Santa Fund to achieve its goal of supporting families during the holidays. These families are assisted through the combined programs of Milford SHARE Outreach, the Front Door Agency, and The Salvation Army of Greater Nashua. ‘The generosity of our community, and of great companies like G.M. Roth and Eversource, really shine during the holidays,’ United Way President Mike Apfelberg said. ‘Their support makes it possible for many hundreds of local families to have a holiday filled with a little bit more joy than otherwise would be the case. We are truly grateful to them, as well as our community partners, and the Nashua Telegraph for making the Santa Fund possible.’ To continue support, go to, www.UnitedWayNashua.org.
