Turnpike Turmoil

NASHUA — At around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, New Hampshire State Police troopers noticed concrete had fallen from the Route 111 Bridge onto the F.E. Everett Turnpike below in the southbound lane in the area of Exit 5 in Nashua. Crews from New Hampshire Department of Transportation responded to investigate the situation. While traffic was backed up for a bit, the area was ultimately declared safe and the scene was cleared in about 45 minutes.
