Nashua woman arrested after traffic stop

MERRIMACK – Susan Hixon, 51, of Nashua, faces charges of operating after suspension and operating with a suspended registration.

At 5 p.m. Tuesday, a Merrimack police officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Tinker Road near Continental Boulevard. During the stop, a records check revealed that the license and registration privileges for the operator, Hixon, had been suspended for failure to pay a court fine.

Hixon was arrested and transported to the Merrimack Police Department. She was processed and released on personal recognizance bail. She is scheduled to appear in the Ninth Circuit Merrimack District Court on Nov. 21 to answer to the charges.
