New York man gets 144 months for robbery

By Staff | Nov 1, 2019

CONCORD – U.S. Attorney Scott Murray said Joseph M. Crocco, 42, of Poughkeepsie, New York, was sentenced to 144 months in prison and ordered to pay $2,798 in restitution for robbing a Hinsdale credit union.

Crocco was found guilty by a jury on Sept. 25, 2018.

“Robberies of banks and credit unions are violent crimes that can jeopardize the safety of employees, customers, and the public,” Murray said. “In order to protect the safety of our citizens, we work closely with our law enforcement partners to prosecute and incarcerate those who commit violent crimes in the Granite State.”
