N.H. man convicted of voting in multiple states
CONCORD – Attorney General Gordon MacDonald said Atkinson resident Robert Bell was convicted of Voting in More than One State Prohibited by a jury in Rockingham County Superior Court on Wednesday.
Bell was convicted of knowingly checking in at the checklist in Atkinson and casting a New Hampshire ballot, after having already cast a ballot in the same election year in Florida. Bell’s Class B felony conviction carries a maximum penalty of three and a half to seven years in the New Hampshire State Prison and/or up to a $4,000 fine.
