Hudson man allegedly stole $10K in coins
MERRIMACK – Joshua Smith, 35, of Hudson, faces a felony count of receiving stolen property after his Wednesday arrest.
At 10:51 p.m. Wednesday, Merrimack police responded to the Hudson Police Department to pick up Smith on a warrant.
The warrant stemmed from an investigation that started on July 14. On that date, police responded to a residence for a report of someone stealing coins estimated in value of $10,000.
Smith was identified as the suspect. Detectives subsequently applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Smith out of the Ninth Circuit Court, Merrimack Division.
Smith was processed and refused bail, pending arraignment.
