NASHUA — City Police Chief Michael Carignan late Monday released this statement via the department’s Twitter feed:

“Chief Carignan is saddened to announce the untimely death of Capt. Jon Lehto. Capt. Lehto passed away while visiting the west coast on 9/09/19. Capt. Lehto was a 20 year member of the Nashua Police Dept. Please join us in prayers for Jon’s family and the community Jon served.”
