Sununu to declare ‘Clean Energy Week’
CONCORD — Gov. Christopher Sununu has issued a state proclamation recognizing Sept. 23-27 as New Hampshire Clean Energy Week.
In his proclamation, Sununu states that “clean energy is an important part of New Hampshire’s energy future” and that the clean energy sector has been a “driver of economic growth” for the state in recent years.
New Hampshire is now the fourth state in the country to formally recognize National Clean Energy Week 2019. Recently, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds, Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey and Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed proclamations supporting Clean Energy Week in their home states.
