Brookline teen arrested for DUI twice in three days

By Staff | Aug 8, 2019

HOLLIS – Christian Cenci, 18, of Brookline, faces a DUI allegation in Hollis, while his arrest in this matter occurred just two days after he reportedly earned the same charge in Milford.

On July 29, Hollis police officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Broad Street. While investigating, officers determined one of the vehicles had been driven by Cenci.

Hollis officials said after considering witness statements and evidence at the scene, they came to believe Cenci had attempted to pass another vehicle that was going in the same direction. This action allegedly led to him strike a Mercedes-Benz that was traveling in the opposite direction.

Further investigation led to officers charging Cenci with misdemeanor DUI, reckless operation and a yellow line violation.

Later, Hollis officials came to believe that Cenci had active bail conditions as a result of a DUI arrest that took place just two days prior in Milford. Therefore, Cenci was also charged with misdemeanor breach of bail conditions.

Cenci was subsequently transferred to the Valley Street Jail in Manchester. He was later released from custody.

Cenci is scheduled for arraignment Wednesday in Ninth Circuit Court, District Division, Nashua.
