NASHUA – The Front Door Agency has been selected as the beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program for July.

The Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program, which launched in April 2014, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal of making a difference in the communities where shoppers work and live.

The Front Door Agency was selected as the July beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Hudson Hannaford, located at 77 Derry Road. The Front Door Agency will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger Bag is purchased at this location in July.

“We are very excited to have been chosen as the July recipient of this community program.” said Maryse Wirbal, CEO of the Front Door Agency. “The participation of shoppers is key. We are grateful for the generosity of Hannaford and this program. These funds will allow us to continue to transform lives in the Greater Nashua area.”

The Front Door Agency is a nonprofit organization located in Nashua, founded in 1987. Last year, the Front Door Agency assisted more than 2,100 people in Greater Nashua through its core programs, which include Transformational Housing for single mothers, Financial Literacy, Housing Stability, offering assistance with rent, utilities, security deposit loans and permanent affordable housing, and a Holiday Santa Program.
