Bar Harbor hires new VPs

NASHUA – Bar Harbor Bank & Trust named Jaime Frederes as its senior vice president and director of residential lending, in addition to naming Tiffany Law as vice president and community banking relationship manager.

Frederes is responsible for the overall bank leadership, franchise growth and business-line profitability of the Residential Lending division throughout the bank’s footprint of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Frederes’ office is located at 1000 Elm St. in Manchester.

With more than 20 years’ experience in residential lending leadership at both regional and national lending institutions, Frederes is especially skilled at developing successful processes and training to provide the best products and customer service to those seeking home financing. Most recently, Frederes was vice president, area lending manager for Bank of America in Southern/Central Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Prior to that role, he served as vice president, area lending manager for Bank of America for Northern New England.

“Jaime is a seasoned executive with a history of demonstrated achievement and performance in all aspects of residential lending, one of our critical and core business lines. We welcome Jaime to our team,” Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer John Mercier said.

Frederes holds a bachelor’s degree in management with a concentration in finance from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. In the community, he has served as both president and an advisory board member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Genesee Region and a board member of Bishop Sheen Ecumenical Housing Foundation.

Law will work from the bank’s office at 188 Main St. in Nashua, serving the southern New Hampshire region. She is excited to be involved in the greater Nashua community in an effort to help small businesses with their financial needs.

Tiffany comes to Bar Harbor with close to 15 years of banking experience, including two years as a business banking officer at Citizens Bank. She is especially focused on the customer experience, delivering the highest level customer service by building relationships with customers, while helping them meet their financial goals. Tiffany offers a full suite of financial product solutions, including deposits, loans, cash management, and merchant services.

Having grown up in Hudson, Tiffany has volunteered for the United Way, New Hampshire Food Bank and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She enjoys spending time with her children and family, as well as hiking, skiing and being at the beach in the summer. Tiffany resides in Amherst with her fiancé and has two children.
