Gate City Series Cup returns to Nashua

By Staff | Mar 14, 2019

NASHUA – The Gate City Series Cup has returned to its home at Toyota of Nashua, with 2018 male and female finishers David Audet and Shannon O’Brien added to the trophy.

Audet and O’Brien won by earning the most points over the five series races based on the age-grading algorithm. Audet had 4,579 points of the maximum 5,000 and O’Brien had 4,486.

Now in its seventh year, the series is welcoming back Toyota of Nashua and The Flight Center as sponsors and continuing its relationship with Millennium Running.

The series sponsorships and races benefit five greater Nashua organizations:

• The Amherst Junior Women’s Club;

• Bridges Domestic & Sexual Violence Support;

• Family Promise of Greater Nashua;

• The High Hopes Foundation; and

• The Vizsla Club of Central New England.

Together, these organizations assist more than 40,000 people in the local community.

The 2019 series kicks off with the May 18 Home Stretch 5K. The complete schedule, as well as special early registration offers, are available on www.gatecityseries.com.
