NASHUA – At 2:18 p.m. Tuesday, officers arrested Melvin Campbell, 18, of 16 E. Pearl St. No. 1, on an arrest warrant for felony robbery.

At 12:44 p.m. Feb. 24, officers responded to a residence in Nashua for the report of a disturbance, during which a handgun was displayed and two men fled the area. Officers obtained information that an argument ensued over the sale of an item. During this argument, one man allegedly brandished a handgun while another male took the item and fled.

Detectives furthered the investigation and learned that one of the men involved was Campbell. An arrest warrant was obtained and as a result, Campbell was charged with robbery felony.

This felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Campbell was released on $5,000 cash or surety bail and his arraignment is scheduled for March 21.
