CONCORD – Nine students from Bishop Guertin High School on Wednesday performed for Gov. Chris Sununu and members of the Executive Council during the bimonthly meeting.

Three of the school’s chamber ensembles (flute duet, clarinet quartet, and saxophone trio) traveled to the State House for the performance. The students are members of the Band Honors Program under the direction of Director Brian Starck.

The students are Sophia Pajakowski, Isabella Wang, Amelia Ballingall, Maddisen Dwelley, Owen Geltz, Andrew Peloquin, Zachary Rioux, Noah Therrien and Geoffrey Zhang.

“I am thrilled our student-musicians were invited to be a part of this unbelievable opportunity,” Starck said. “It is a testament to their hard work as they perform nearly four dozen times each school year and always represent BG with pride and passion. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful students who are eager to share their talents with their community.”
