Day’s Jewelers opens 8th store in Nashua
NASHUA – Day’s Jewelers is excited to be expanding their brand in southern New Hampshire, and will hold their official grand opening of the new Nashua location next weekend.
On Dec. 7 a ribbon cutting will officially unveil their newest location, which is now their second in New Hampshire and eighth including all Maine locations.
“It’s going to be a fun party that we’re going to have,” New Hampshire territory manager LT Sierra said, adding that, “The first night is a tribute to the workers that had all come together to work on this project. They took the design concepts and translated it to real life and executed it amazingly.”
Additionally, the Dec. 7 celebration is being held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres, entertainment, refreshments, giveaways, tours of the store, special savings and more. People can also enter to win a Forevermark Diamond necklace valued at $2,900. Then the celebration continues on Saturday, Dec. 8 when people can enjoy their hot chocolate bar, balloons, giveaways and explore the store while meeting the staff.
“We’re excited to be in the southern New Hampshire area,” Sierra said.
This family business was founded in Portland, Maine in 1914 by the Davidson family, and later purchased by the Corey family in 1988. Now, over 100 years later, Sierra is eager to grow the brand in the Granite State. Other store locations include, Manchester, NH; Waterville, ME; South Portland, ME; Topsham, ME; Bangor, ME; Augusta, ME; and Auburn, ME.
The Nashua store has much to offer including a children’s play area, a bar, a 3D diamond machine and in-house jeweler offering a full service jewelry repair shop on the premise. This family owned and operated store is located at 567 Amherst St. and store hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“In Maine we’re extremely well-known as a family owned company and my goal is to really get the Day’s Jewelers name out to the New Hampshire area, and now with two stores it should be much easier to do that,” Sierra said.
