Merrimack man faces multiple charges after incident

MERRIMACK – At 11:39 p.m. Monday, Merrimack Police Department officers received a complaint about a vehicle operating erratically on the Everett Turnpike. An officer located the vehicle in question at a local business as the operator attempted to pump gasoline.

The officer noticed signs of impairment on the man. After sobriety tests, the officer arrested the man for operating a vehicle under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs.

The man was identified as Jared Bisset, 29, of 33 Brieann Drive, Merrimack.

During an inventory of his vehicle, an assortment of narcotic pills and an unidentified powder substance were located.

Bisset was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to answer to the charges on Nov. 1.
