NASHUA – Police recently arrested three men for multiple alleged offenses: Benjamin Bennett, Luis Maldonado-Arroyo and Michael Rogers.

At 9:40 p.m. Sunday, officers arrested Bennett, 39, of 407 Amherst St., Nashua, on an electronic bench warrant, a capias warrant for a probation violation and convicted felons.

On Sunday, officers responded to a grocery store at 375 Amherst St. for a report of a man who could not stand on his feet. Officers identified the man as Bennett, and placed him under arrest for the warrants.

Also recently, officers responded to a food service establishment at 121 Main St. for a report of a burglary. Officers discovered a broken cash register and a sum of U.S. currency missing.

Detectives eventually identified Maldonado-Arroyo, no age or address given, as the suspect. On Friday, police officers arrested him on the warrant corresponding to the felony charge.

Finally, at 5:51 p.m. Monday, officers arrested Rogers, 43, of 11 Richardson Road, North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, for a felony count of fraudulent retail actions.

On Sept. 9, officers responded to a building supplies store at 143 Daniel Webster Hwy. for a report of theft. Officers learned that a man had been removing a less expensive item’s bar code and placing it atop a more expensive item’s bar code before completing the transactions at the self-checkout kiosk. Store officials believe these actions resulted in a loss of $1,082.91 for their business.

Officers identified Rogers as the suspect. Rogers was released on Personal Recognizance bail and he is scheduled to appear at arraignment at the Hillsborough County Superior Court-South on Oct. 25.

The Nashua Police Department requests anyone with more information about these incidents to contact the Crime Line at 603-589-1665.
