Boston woman charged after alleged verbal, physical tantrum on Lake Street

NASHUA – A 29-year-old woman from Boston is due back in a Nashua courtroom in December to face charges stemming from an alleged spate of behavior that led to her arrest early Monday morning.

Allison K. Hagelberger, who lists no fixed address, is charged with three counts of simple assault and one count of disorderly conduct, which accuse her of kicking an officer twice in the knees and grabbing another officer by the shirt while he was putting her in a holding cell and sliding the door shut, according to reports.

The reckless conduct charge accuses Hagelberger of failing to obey officers’ orders to stop running up and down the middle of Lake Street.

Hagelberger was booked on the charges, which are Class A misdemeanors, and was jailed overnight. She was arraigned the next morning in Nashua district court via video conference from the jail, where bail was set at $250. She was later released pending the Dec. 11 pre-trial conference.

Police said in their reports they were called to a Lake Street residence around 1:30 a.m., where a man told them Hagelberger was there but she “was not welcome,” and “he would like her removed,” police said.

Officers spoke with Hagelberger, and “warned her multiple times” about her behavior, which, they said, included running up and down Lake Street, shouting profanities and “running in front of (an officer’s) cruiser,” allegedly in an attempt to block him from leaving, the reports state.

But she allegedly continued running and screaming, police said, prompting them to take her into custody.

They initially charged her with the disorderly conduct offense, but added the simple assault counts after she allegedly kicked an officer while he was putting her into a cruiser, kicked him again while he was putting her into a holding cell, then grabbed the other officer’s shirt, according to the reports.
