Brunches at Nashua restaurant to benefit Harbor Homes

By Staff | Dec 6, 2014

Sunday brunches at the Crowne Plaza Hotel’s Speaker’s Corner restaurant are about to get a little more festive and fulfilling.

On Dec. 7, 14 and 21, the Crowne will donate 15 percent of every adult brunch purchase to Harbor Homes’ Ending Homelessness Fund, an initiative the Nashua agency launched in January to provide permanent housing and support services to chronically homeless individuals and their families, especially veterans.

Fund organizers are ramping up their efforts this month in hopes of reaching their goal of raising $200,000 by Dec. 31.

According to Crowne Plaza spokeswoman Sherrie Allard, “a very special guest from the North Pole – none other than Santa Claus himself” is expected to be on hand at each of the Sunday Brunch with Santa events to add even more to the festive atmosphere.

The brunches run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Speaker’s Corner, which is inside the hotel at 2 Somerset Parkway.

For reservations and more information about the brunches, call 595-4155 or visit www.speakerscornerbistro.com.

To make a donation directly to the Ending Homeless Fund or for more information, contact Donna Collins at Harbor Homes at 882-3616, ext. 1242, or d.collins@harborhomes.org, or visit www.harborhomes.org/ehf.
